Print FAQ

#1 Print FAQ: How do I frame a canvas print?
Canvas prints don’t necessarily require a frame, they come with reflected edges which means the sides of the canvas are printed on as a continuation of the painting. They also arrive ready to hang! However, many of my collectors choose to frame them, which can make it even harder to distinguish between an original and a print. The frames you’ve seen on my site and social media are unfinished maple wood floater frames. A local framer could help you frame these and show you other color/stain options as well. If you prefer an online company like Framebridge, you can mail in your work and purchase one of these frames.
If you or someone you know is handy, building a custom float frame is another option!
#2 Print FAQ: How much of a white border is there on the paper prints?
Figure drawings and sunflower prints are all borderless to best represent the original paper artwork. Otherwise, prints under 16x20” have a 1” minimum white border, and prints 16x20” and larger have a 2” minimum white border, allowing room for title, artist signature, and framing. The listing size is the final paper size, the image will be slightly smaller. If you would prefer your print borderless, leave a note at checkout or email hello@katherinecorden.com after purchasing.
#3 Print FAQ: Do you offer framing?
I do not, but if you want to purchase a print and have it framed through Framebridge, leave a note at checkout and email me after purchasing. I can ship it straight to Framebridge for you to streamline your process!
