Happy last day of school greetings. I’m writing you from my kitchen table, finally enjoying some espresso after drop off, and catching my breath after temporarily misplacing teacher gifts (Meijer gift cards* - but make it cute in homemade wrapping paper) five minutes before leaving our house, only to find them at the last absolute second. Signed, sealed, delivered. Success!
I used to find gift cards uninspired. Something you give when you run out of time or don’t know the person well enough. But as I’ve gotten older, I can really appreciate a gift that says “I know you well enough you want to choose for yourself”. And I don’t know if this applies to anything more than it applies to art. What better way to gift art - an extremely personal, and often luxurious indulgence - than with a gift card.
And of course, things happen, and we find ourselves on the other side of shipping deadlines. I offer KCB gift cards for all these reasons. Simply pair it with a thoughtful note. A perfect stocking stuffer.
Love,
Katherine
P.S. two other last minute options:
if you have any creative souls in your life, or you yourself are starting out in your art career, I offer 90 minute 1:1 creative consultations. I love mentoring other artists and January is a great time to invest in your creative practice/business.
if you’re hosting and want to switch up your Samsung frame artwork, I offer three bundles of art downloads here.
*For teachers, mail carriers, city waster workers etc. cash + useful gift cards are a must btw!!
I don't know a single teacher who doesn't appreciate a gift card !!!
