#1 Framing FAQ from this week: How do I frame a canvas print?
Canvas prints don’t necessarily require a frame, they come with reflected edges which means the sides of the canvas are printed on as a continuation of the painting. They also arrive ready to hang. However, many of my collectors frame their canvas prints! I think a frame makes it even harder to distinguish between an original and a print, they look really sharp. The frames you’ve seen me use on my site and social media are all unfinished maple wood floater frames. Any local framer could help you frame these and show you other color stain options as well. If you prefer to use an online company like Framebridge, you can mail in your work and purchase one of these frames.
And if you or someone you know is handy, building a custom float frame is another option!
