I’ve realized I’m not ever really painting ‘the beach’, or rather, I’m painting more than the beach. I’m painting relationships. The relationship between colors, between me and the paint… The relationship between family, friends, humans and mother nature… Community really. Beaches just happen to be the avenue I explore that theme. May this calendar inspire you to foster the spirit of community and ‘beach days’ every day of the year.
