New Prints Available Tomorrow
These paintings have resonated with so many, I’m looking forward to sharing the prints with you all! I believe in the accessibility of art - everyone should enjoy it on a daily basis - which is why I am proud to offer a variety of print sizes and materials that can accommodate a variety of budgets.
I’ll be sending a reminder email tomorrow, along with a special treat just for email subscribers ;-) Check out this fun Instagram reel I made sharing the collection.
Print Details
I work very closely with a fine art reproduction studio team (conveniently located in my building!) to create giclée art prints. The original works are photographed by the same studio and great care is taken to ensure the print image resembles the original as much as possible. They are then printed using pigmented, archival inks.
Fine Art Paper Prints: Printed on certified archival, 100% cotton rag paper that is acid and lignin free. Prints under 16x20” have a 1” minimum white border, and prints 16x20” and larger have a 2” minimum white border, allowing room for title, artist signature, and framing. Listing size is the final paper size, the image will be slightly smaller. If you prefer your print borderless, simply leave a note at checkout.
Gallery Wrapped Canvas: Printed on heavy, cotton archival canvas that is hand stretched and coated with UV protective satin varnish. Edges will be reflected to match the artwork. Canvas prints are titled and signed on the back of the canvas. They arrive wired and ready to hang.
Framing guidelines are included in your purchase, but you may refer to this page at any time: Framing Guidelines.
Something New
In case you missed it, I shared on Instagram my print Self Reflection (an OG beach self portrait!) is now exclusively available in the 16x16 size as a framed print through Anthropologie. A pinch me moment to be sure!
Scribbles + Notes
I still have a handful of available works on my site in a range of sizes, including a larger 24x30 beach portrait.
I had the pleasure of hosting several of you for studio visits last week! If you want to schedule a studio appointment, simply hit reply to this email or reach out at hello@katherinecorden.com.
Beach umbrellas are very photogenic, but they quickly turn dangerous on windy days, so we prefer finding shade under tents. Our exact beach tent you’ve been asking about is this one. It’s old from a small Australian company, so reach out to make sure they’re still in production! I also found a similar one here, and have used and love the simplicity of this one.
If you find yourself in or near Benzie County on August 26th, consider volunteering for this amazing beach clean up project!
I love following Nicki Sebastian’s film photography on Instagram. She and her family just traveled to Copenhagen and it’s now my top bucket list destination. If I paint the beautiful places I travel, the travel expenses are considered a tax write off, right? I’m now on a linking spree, so while we’re at it.
